Surprisingly good.

Not as good as MK64 or SMK, but much better than I expected.  Wifi is fun.

just because it isn't released yet in america, I voted "Sucks huge balls in hell."

and from what i've seen I can tell it's a really pussyfied game with the horrible MTs.

True. I played this game for the first time today, and this game is actually much more challenging than it looks. I could only get a 1'31 on LC on the first go.  
I'd say its better than I expected. At this point, I am loving MT, such a great track.

Still never played, but all my friends who already played MKWii found it surprisingly good, so I think it's worth it to buy the Wii and the game

Pretty cool, but expected a little better maybe.

It's my second favorite after MKDS I think...

Little disappointing points :

- some 'lag' (gets slower cause of some graphic effects), not that big but still, we're telling about MK !

- not enough options on local multiplayer (only 100cc, no use of the other licences on the save file, no random choice or automatic championship...)

- luck is too important (too much item, no snake technic to get first by driving skills, but this may be because I just suck)

- retro maps not edited enough for the current gameplay (some like wario stadium are perfect, but some like the icy one are boring as hell)

- best lap and other PRs really annoying to check (where is the damn personal 'ranking' menu !!)

- bikes are too strong  :'( ! (and this is a real pain in the ass... why do I always prefer the worst vehicles in all racing games ??)


Except this, I actually love everything in this game... but complaining is much easier

This game is great. It isn't too reliant on MTs (MKDD) or too reliant on simply taking turns sharply and being good on straights (SMK), but it mixes the two together. The one thing that could have made this game infinitely better is if they made Marty unlockable! (Seriously, they have Bowser's Castle from MK64 in the game, they should've put it in there the same way they did for MK64 )

I had low expectations, so I'm not really disappointed. I think it could be a lot better though. Sometimes the items get to be too much in GP, and TTs can be a pain because it's really easy to screw up, but overall it's still a pretty fun game. I haven't played online yet though.

My only complaint is that there's too much moving shit in the courses. In some courses, you have to learn the positioning of everything for each lap in order to get a decent time.
With the electric things in the Koopa Cape tunnel, that doesn't even work. They're beyond annoying. I haven't been able to get a single good time because I drive into the electric things at some point in every freaking attempt. It's impossible to avoid them without wasting time, so you just have to keep trying until you get lucky with how your driving works with the positioning of the electric things.
