What are the current WR holders doing wrong? (Read 222 times)

There are two strats used on waluigi stadium on the 1st zipper. One involves mting and going to the right of the zipper, while the other involves hitting the very left of the zipper. On the wolrd record run, he uses the 1st strat on lap 1 and 3, and the 2nd strat on lap 2. I am curious as to why this is, and how much time was lost/gained in doing this.

Reply #3 - 04/24/08 at 12:32:53 About WS: If you go right you need to kinda slow a little down and steer left to hit the slope of the last hill and get the 180° turn really close. I haven't really tested going left so far but I was faster going right than the WR going left

Reply #5 - 04/24/08 at 12:57:06 hmmm, well for starters they are not driving fast enough , but mostly what i have seen is that there are inconsistencies in some of the shroom spots each lap, i.e. lap 1 shroom differs from lap 2 and 3. Um also as Robin mentioned many of the starts are not at maximum speed.
