Hi guys. I've added an extra page to the site where we can keep uptodate the official Nintendo top10 times for the 32 courses. I've also hooked this page up to the database so that we can see how much our site times dominate the top10 lists.
Hopefully 1 day we'll reach 100%.

What I need is a few people to volunteer to keep the page updated every day with the changes in the top10 times.

At the moment anyone can go and help out by filling in the times. You don't need to do them all at once. You can pick and choose which ones to update whenever you want.
(Also, I have no idea if the program even works, so this is a bit of a test too and I'll be sure to fix anything that's broken)

Unfortunately those pictures could be as much as 24 hours out of date. I want the page to be as up-to-date as possible. The page is keeping track of the exact minute times get updated, and I want those times to be accurate. Maybe in the future when records aren't broken so frequently, a once a day approach would be fine.

Does the percentage indicate any time in the top 10 that are from this site by matching the 3lap times on the charts page and the official rankings. Does it jsut take into consideration the WR or all times in top 10. Also hows does it differentiate between someone that is not on the website who gets the same 3lap as somone who is on the website eg a tie between a member and non-member.

Also about my question, if it cannot differentiate between a member and non-member, it might be a good idea to indicate on the new page u created a slot for the name of the person that got the time if they are on the players' page, and non-member time can be blank or "non-member". Just a suggestion though.

Bhoj, it compares all the top10 times to our times in the database. Obviously that means that on rare occasions two times may be identical like you said and it will cause a slight error by matching someone who isn't on the site. This would only be a small thing though, and I don't want to add more work to people by requiring a name too. Good questions though!

The percentage is also weighted too, so WRs will get more priority over 10th place. At the moment the weighting is 20,15,12,10,8,6,4,3,2,1, but this can be changed if someone thinks it should be weighted differently.

I don't particularly want to update this, but I'd like to help out with updating PR submissions in the Yahoo Group. I have experience with both MKDD and MKDS so I'm very familiar with the system and process..  

Why some of the TOP 10s have 0'00"000 and other impossible times?

You could also show the % of only WRs too.

And I think you have to make restrict access.

Thanks for that. I'm not sure what could be causing the problem. Maybe someone entering more than 10 times, or less than 10 times. The program isn't perfect yet, but I'll work on it some more tomorrow, and definitely will add more details to that page too.

How do you let show your flag next to your name. In the options menu, I said it was OK, but I can't see a flag next to the name....

Ok nice updates in the last few days and all that...but whoever is typing in to update, please like check it after you're done to make sure it went through right, at any given moment like 1/4 the courses have 0"00'025 as the last time on the list....
