Send in your PRs to this mailing list so that I have some data to test the parser with.
The course abbreviations will be just the 1st letters of their names, with 'R' for retro in front of the old tracks (so "retro yoshi falls", or RYF), but you can try writing the course names in whatever format you you think is suitable so I can adapt the parser to understand it.

I agree. There are 2 peach courses, 3 mario courses and 3 bowser courses. If you were required to put the Full Retro name before the time, it would make things a lot easier.

RPB could be mistaken for RPG

MC could be mistaken for RMC

RMC could be mistaken for RMC3

BC could be mistaken for RBC

RBC could be mistaken for RBC3

Its a lot easier if you just put the console the course appeared on. That way, there is no mistakening.

I'd rather spend a little more time submitting just to know that It'll all go through with no mistakes. If the updaters understand them both though, and both are allowed, there shouldn't be a problem.

No. Once they are on the site and submitted we will know what our flaps are and what to beat. I feel the trouble is playing through them to see what they are in the first place.

Though for me I haven't played any flaps so everyone I go for will be a PR.

Macaque Elite Offline MKDS nonPRB Titan B/PRB Hero A missed 6678 mts	Re: YahooGroup Reply #21 - 04/17/08 at 07:16:33 It sounds like a very nice idea to have a separate chart for 3 lap AF. 3 lap total time charts are OK but AF is a much better measure of a player's skill. With the flap only appearing on the screen for about five seconds it is a real pain to play those times. I'm guessing many players will only submit their PRs for 3 laps anyway.

5 seconds is enough. Don't tell me it takes you longer then 5 seconds to remember 3 digits.

If you are in a good 3lap race, complete it and take note of your flap after the race. You should know what the first two digits should be eventually. Memorizing a 3 digit number is not hard.

EDIT - People don't seem to have a problem in that best splits topic to remember their splits and best laps....
