Yes, yes, you get points for winning and you lose points for losing, I noticed that, but I would like to know the reason for the points?
I haven't found a ranking for that and I don't see the game choosing random players who have points closest to mine.

So its just something to look when you start the racing and say: Wow!!! He has 20129129 points!

Depends on your score and the number of people playing as far as I know.

Yes, it depends on your rating, the rating of the other people, and how high you place. It is supposed to only match people with similar ratings but it hardly ever seems to happen Sad

If you have ever played Tetris DS you will see that the rating system is very similar to that game.

On a similar note does anyone know what the golden wheel means above a player's head? Also, when a Japanese person selects Rainbow Road that course is always in mirror mode, what is up with that?

I'm at around 7800 right now but I hope to get to 8000 soon. I'm not sure if means very much at this stage since there seem to be a ton of players who are just donating points.

The reason is b/c Nintendo is trying to have some sort of ranking and stats without making noobs feel bad. So they come up with stuff like this that has very little meaning and value.

I'm hovering about 7.5k, got drunk and donated some points earlier.

But yeah the amount of cannon fodder is immense, I've only seen a handful of talent, I remember seeing Moritz for 2 games - he raped me at Sherbet then I pwned BC3

Hopefully Ninty will implement a better method of matching up players in the near future, I'm intrigued at this "competition" area.
