Haha, you'll have to forgive me for the reaction to that one...

I'm not used to getting places in this game in such a short time.
I grinded WGM for months and didn't make any improvements at all...
To return to DS after 2 years inactivity; and PB to that in 3 days, is nothing short of a miraculous feat for me.

I guess it's true what they say. You never truly rust at Mario Kart Wii.
I'd even go as far to say that long breaks from courses actually help...

The time is nice, for sure, but it still has a way to go...
(2 days later I had a run that was on a low 2:04.7 pace without all the chains, that had an unfortunate end)
Gonna play it for the rest of December to see what else surfaces.
I imagine a low 2:04.6/high 2:04.5 is very attainable without the use of the shroomless dock.

Fox, Havoc and Dane have also jumped aboard the Delfino train, so it's very possible to see some optimizations from them also.

But I hope you continue to get runs like that, even if some of them end up with a run-killer fail, and not have countless days of nothing happening (like on WGM). The former keeps us motivated big time.

Funky Kong/Bowser Bike real top speed is set at 96.6 so I'm guessing this speedometer rounded it up to the nearest whole number.
Rosalina/Bowser Bike is 96.0, just in case you wanted to know

Sam said he showed potential on the track when he played. Also the music is being played on a media player. you can hear the dkm music still going on. it even still keeps going after the final lap sound goes on
