The online rankings in wii games can actually be watched in game and are pretty popular. Not only that, but just hacking gameplay to win would most likely still happen not just rankings. I think the PSP version of moh (which IS being hacked) contra the wii version of the same game (is NOT being hacked) shows that it is easier said than done.
