I wonder if pulling the stunts will end up being faster than SSMT on some courses?

On the video of Koopa using a star, we can know the time to get boost:
Sliding during ~2 seconds give a little boost (blue sparks)
Sliding during ~5 seconds give a better boost (blue sparks, and after red/yellow sparks)

You just have to slide to get boost, you don't need to press left or right (but you always can press left or right to move the direction of the slide).

Based on this sliding system, multiple boosts in long turns and wide snaking as long as mt boost pays off? This probably varies a lot based on the kart so we'll have to figure out which one is the best.
