finally got the worldrecord on saturday.
Mario Kart Super Circuit - Rainbow Road - 34"53* - WR
even though it's my bad cam watch it in 480p. i can't borrow the hd cam earlier than next monday
also used a ds for a little bit better quality...

splits: 11"86 ; 11"32 ; 11"35

btw. i'm gonna make a live vid when i have the hd cam at home...

A monumental achievement with a large historic component. You have removed the doubt from the WR charts (Hirano's time was imo always surrounded by clouds of uncertainty....the fact Seb beat it doesn't change that, but it DOES change that we now know that the WR is at least real Cool

), so I salute you! Smiley

I also think this pretty much solidifies what I already thought...no one will ever end your MKSC reign as long as you keep somewhat active, as you are simply the best player the game will ever see, bar non.

A year ago when I did the half-assed TAS I honestly thought that Mander had TAS'd it. After seeing Seb get within .50 of the record I quickly changed my mind on that. Seb, you deserve this WR. Seriously, I can't imagine the hours that went into getting this record. The level of human precision in this record is pretty damned high, and anyone who says otherwise is a moron.
