You obviously did not watch it. Giulio did not land on the road smoothly basically coming to a dead stop. In Josh's run, he turns around way too late before doing the pipe sc and takes some crappy turns at the end. If someone does this with standard rb or BLS and just finishes the run cleanly and performs the strat correctly can get close to sub 35. This is a weak WR in my opinion.
About Fabien's BP flap, it looks strong but can any of these WR's be near perfection in just two years of playing? If someone else gets a lucky time here they could very well beat it but I do not see many people trying. Definitely one of the stronger WR's.
We still have not reached best splits on DKP 3lap and who is to say Ben won't sub 1'45 here too? Sure it's a hard strat to perform but in terms of being perfect, we are not quite there yet.
The CM flap is done on lap 1 so it is already weak. You can also add an extra mt starting on lap 2 so even if the current time is good and what not, we are not using the best possible strat most likely.
The shroom lap on DS 3lap was pretty slow compared to best splits so this WR can come down if someone else puts together a similar run with nicer splits. Not maxed out yet but difficult to do with BLS. I say around 1'30"0 - 1'30"25 and this will be a very strong record.
This is a topic for strongest WR's so I obviously don't consider nonprb times to be WR's. These are barely played on and only players from this site compete on them unlike the real WR's which players all over the world have fought for since release in 2005. Given how little they are played for, I would not say a lot of them are very strong or near potential. If I had to choose some of the best, I would say Sascha's F8C and CI2 times, Fabien's PC flap, and Thomas' KB2 3lap. Some are more improvable than others but these are pretty solid runs. Sure, the other courses might be stronger but there is still some potential in strat or whatever. The SG and LC2 times are not a pushover but for a longer course, there is more to perfect.
I think the YF flap is a pretty strong WR now. For the 3lap, the strongest records are those where just one or two splits were a little slower than they should have been like BB 3lap, AF 3lap, DKP 3lap, DS 3lap etc. I think Giulio's RR sc 3lap with just using the pipe sc is very strong but it can be beaten easily if you land the rail sc once.
