I been getting the "Update Session" a lot lately but I have only been using this computer recently. Perhaps switching from my lap top or using another computer to log in briefly has something to do with it but I do not think someone else is logging in with my password. Maybe its my wireless signal picking up and dropping because my desktop does this a lot?

I would just like to know why it does this and if there is any other real reason why I see this message pop up several times.

It only does it if you login from an IP address different to the one you logged in from before. If you constantly cycle IP addresses (e.g. switch between 2 computers, or are on dhcp), you will get it every time you want to do mod-ly actions.

If your laptop and desktop go through the same router/gateway and advertise the same IP to the rest of the world, it's not a problem. Your connection dropping also shouldn't be the cause. Is your IP address static? (whatismyip.org to find out.. see if it changes from time to time).

This does not happen with my laptop though. Guess I dont have to worry about someone else logging in as me, haha. Yea Ben, if you dont update the session you can not perform the "mod-ly actions".
