But this is not going to replace the regular updates in the future, right? Because as awesome as it is, I, personally, would miss the easy way to look at the movement of people in the short, written updates. And I do not think I would watch almost two hours of update twice a month.

Hey guys,

So I just sent in what will be my last regular news update. Over the months and years, I've found it harder and harder to find the time to complete these in a timely manner, so I think it's best that I let someone else run these in order to minimize delays.

I've decided to turn control of that over to Jake, he's been doing a much better job than I have of late.. Quite frankly, a lot of people don't fully understand just how much work goes into these things (especially recently, as activity is at an all time high and it easily takes over 2 hours to complete these), so go easy on Jake! I'll still be around, even throwing in random updates if Jake needs help. My next project is to get POWs up to date (in the coming weeks, and then get POY out sometime next month).

It's been a good 2 years and 3 months (wow, that time sure flied), and he's to a nice long run from Jake!

It's understandable you took that decision, but what you left behind is what most of us appreciate a lot, my salute for your great work!

I have a question. When i read this:

Vincent Tolhuis beat the DKJP sc 3lap WR with a time of 17"84(21.45)...however....
Beck Abney beat the old DK's Jungle Parkway SC 3lap record of 0'21"63 (0'17"99)
with a very patriotic 0'21"35 (0'17"76)


It looks like i didn't own any world record but jyst improoved DK whyle abney and i are in a battle.
It would make scence if it says abney beats DK's Jungle Parkway SC 3lap record of 0'21"45 from Vincent tolhuis back or anything close to that.....

I'm saying this cause 21'63 wasn't the world record he beat   cause I did  ;

Maybe the way peoeple look at wrs here are by updating moment.....
SO i quess mkwrs.com is the right place to check wr stats

i dont like this way at all cause it would mean everybody should send in his wr 1 day before updating to get noticed correctly..
This can be improoved i guess by pointing out each world record seperately

Matthias Rustemeyer hit a gab split tie with the old Moo Moo Farm 3lap record of 1'25"94 (1'11"47). MR's run was .01 faster on PAL, but converts to the same time on the ranks.

THE WORLD RECORD IS 1.25.93 Come on its 2020 that convert stuff is way old and only usefull for ntsc ties with GABSHIT
but since the top players and especially non-sc world records are 100% ruled by PAL we cannot keep saying its a tie or gabsplit tie because of the convertion. MR beat the old world record by 0.01 and thats what it is... so the time should be listed .93 and not .94  

its pretty useless putting the wrong times everytime...
same like DKJP 21.77 World record shows 78 on the previous world record update But its not 78 its a PAL overall world record so dont put fake times


I personally also think that PAL should be the main leader of the platform and not NTSC so that you avoid the minimal differences in PAL.

I'm saying this cause a lot of people jump to PAL lately to improve there times to get highly ranked if they have the ability.  plus the fact a gabsplit tie is not possible anymore if we convert to PAL only for news updates. if a NTSC player Ties a PAL world record (wish will be very hard imo for non sc)  he should always get the fastest of the 2 since is unlikey it will ever happen   and should benevid of the difficulty of ntsc
