That would be really cool I know there aren't terribly many of us but it would still be nice to see where all of us ladies rank...maybe it might help recruit some more girls to the SMK site as well

It could be a nice idea which would help to recruit more girls for the site like april said.
But i think it should be an extra page like the country average finish, i mean girls still have to be ranked to the main page with the boys.

Anyway, something i was discussing with Leyla earlier, if Alex is reading

I checked on the other sites and they had a small page somewhere that had the womens' rankings so I thought that it should be fairly straightforward to do something for SMK site.

Alex, would it be possible to either create separate pages for PAL and NTSC to show just the female players in a list by average finish? Either that or some check box/menu option on the current average finish pages to show female players only. Also if you could add the same box to show all of those past top 100 and filter them by country, as Leyla was interested also in seeing her rank in the UK amongst the other SMK girls

We have 3 karters on NTSC and 13 on PAL so far so would be cool to set this up cos im sure we can recruit some more.

If any karters can recruit any sisters/ cousins(female) /female friends etc that'd be great and add to the competition.

My next job is to get Leyla back into TT cos shes really busy lately and her small gaming time is dedicated to GBA and Mario All stars although she came 2nd in a Mushroom GP we drove last time (i came 1st) and she was using D.K.Jr..    a good sign maybe

Yeh of course didnt want it to appear to be sexist in any way, was mainly just a small thing on the side which was a request by a few of the girls on the rankings anyway as they wanted to see where they were ranked. Just wasnt sure who updated them on the other sites, so i thought something small could be added to the lower links if karters were happy with it.

I counted and we have 3 on NTSC and 13 on PAL at the moment. There are probably some more recruits that will arrive in near future also.

Probably keep it to just average finish or something on one separate page in the extra section for both PAL and NTSC. If it is ok let me know I can give you the karters names.

Toggle UK to some other country, such as USA. There's no drop-down box for selecting the country because it's 5am and the sun is out. Maybe if you get, say, another 10 girls joining, then I'll add you a drop-down box.

@Sami: to modify the parser, updating pages and database schema (rebuild/reindex) would take me over an hour, even if it seems like such a small thing to simply add a new checkbox that you can tick when updating. Unless you plan to have a lot more girls (or guys flocking to the clinic for an operation...) then I'm tempted to leave it as it currently is - the pids of girls are written inside the code itself so you can't update them, but it takes me, like, seriously 1.96sec to add/delete someone from the list. So I can take care of the adding new girls in; just send me pids as required.

Thats really great thanks for creating that A drop down box for country wil be great i suppose when we get new members itl be easier for them to figure out how to access. There are a few members expected soon so wel prob add that feature in then if possible.
