In a nutshell, it's a Lady, her manic-depressive, suicidal, homosexual brother(Steve Carell), her over-worked dickhead Husband, her coke-snorting, foul mouthed grandfather, their emo son on a vow of silence and the little girl named Olive, all packed into a VW van with a broken starter, trying to get to a beauty pageant in California. I haven't laughed like that in years. There are too many funny parts to list. It will make you laugh and cry at the same time.
