Hurricane Season

It seems like the tropics are actually active now.  When a storm forms, me and my buddies like betting on where it might make landfall etc.  So if your right you get a nice sum of cash.  Grin

Here is the first update the national hurricane center has made.

I thought it might be fun if we guess where this thing might end up.

I say this thing will hit me smack dab in Florida.  Cool

Well last year we had a hurricane with winds of 100-130 miles per hour, you get use to this sort of thing living down here.  Having no power for a month sucks though.  Sad

Eh, I just thought I put the news out there.  I know hurricane/tropical storm/ now depression Ernesto is causing lots of problems in the east mid atlantic states.

I always expect the worse case scenario because hurricanes, when they affect your area are serious business.

There was some sarcasm there, I just dont say it explicitly.  Tongue

I would think it would hit on the coast of NC or SC, but it could very well hit in GA...

However, most hurricanes don't just go straight for the most part (at least not from what I've seen)....I imagine it'll make a turn somewhere and hit farther north than FL.

I'm gonna put my money on the fact that no landfall will happen.
At the very best it will hit the outer banks of North Carolina.
That's my prediction.
