Custom Time (Problem Solved)
08/17/06 at 16:29:04
I would like to know how to get my time to show like this:
8/17/06 at 6:21:32pm
Currently it doesn't have the seconds on it (8/17/06 at 6:21pm) and I cant figure out how to type it in on the part where you type in your own time format. Could someone help me out?

Mine does it by default, but to change it go into your profile and modify, then go to the options tab and one of the things in there is for time format, then change it to whatever setting you want. Hope this helps

Yeah I know how to get to the place to change it but I don't know what to type in the box to make the time like that.

You shouldn't have to type anything...for me it's the first option in the drop-down menu.

Mine is the way you want it so I just copied this from my profile:
MM D+ YYYY @ HH:mm:ss*

I want it to say the time with am/pm, instead of
8/17/06 at 18:21:32
I want
8/17/06 at 6:21:32pm

Use "D/M/YY @ hh:mm:ss#"
The ampm sign is a #.
But using "D/M/Y" seems to have problems when the day is "Today" or "Yesterday", as it becomes "Today//"

Thanks, Alex. Also, when I select the time zone I live in the time is one hour off, is that normal?

Actually, now on the posts from today and yesterday it has a / on both sides of the word like /
Today
/ can that go away like before?
EDIT: WHOA, after I posted this all of the sudden it was fixed, (starts cheering)
EDIT #2: Is there some place these codes are listed because i tried using about ten different symbols for the am/pm but I couldn't figure it out

I just quickly hacked the forum to remove a // from Today/Yesterday if you use the time format I gave you above.
As for 1-hr differences forum time and your time, it could be daylight savings. Have you selected the "Enable Automatic Daylight Savings" option?

Yeah, when the box is on or off it still has the same one hour off time.

Dunno about that, then. You could just "artificially" fix the time by using a timezone that 1-hr away from you.

i suppose that is good enough, then when daylight savings time comes up I can just switch back to normal
EDIT: Thanks for the help.
EDIT #2: How come sometimes when i fix a typo or something in my message it says "last edited by (user) at (time)" and sometimes it doesn't
EDIT #3: Is it possible to make it so when the last poster in a topic edits their message instead of posting a new one then it goes to the top of the list?
EDIT #4: I think you just earned my vote in the karter contest
(I think this is way too many edits)
EDIT #5: Now it says that little message in the corner that i talked about in EDIT #2 and earlier it didn't
