But yes, I would consider myself trustworthy. I've built up a positive reputation around the NSider forums. Here, it's too early to say.

There might be some people here who would vouch for me.

I can't help but feel bad for MKDS players who visit the Message Board and are led to believe that the presumedly poor state that this MB has sunk into is entirely their community's fault. As far as I know, the question that MB threads and posts might be deteriorating in quality had been brought up well before MKDS (and maybe even MKDD) existed as a game.

I must admit that I personally regularly find posts that are made by the respected long-time members to be the ones that are most annoying, arrogant or disrespectful. I rarely complain or even comment on it, because one thing that I value a lot about this MB is the diversity of its users, but sometimes I just wish certain people would be more considerate in their relationships towards others, people who are perfect internet strangers to them.

Wanting to restrain the posting capacities of a certain group of people, and simultaneously homogenizing the profile of the "average MB user", is in my opinion elitist, and represents a much greater threat than the "MKDS kiddies". I enjoy the presence of individuals such as Pobre, Duff and Yazzo on the forums, not because of the pertinent and constant rigorousness of their messages, but  precisely because of their unique, extrovert personalities, and their lightheartedness, when many people just choose to show intolerance, insolence and disrespect. I think it'd be a major loss for the community if any such personality was banned in the name of anti-spam policies.

Well... regardless of the care I've put in the structure of my message, those were roughly my thoughts on this matter.

i agree with Simon....there's nothing wrong with diversity on the boards and i feel that the ''deterioration" of this board is a slightly unfair term.  Most people moan about topics disappearing from the main page with in day and the vast increase in posts but generally this is due to an increase of people using this board and not the spamming that everyone mentions.  The days of maybe one new topic a day are gone from this board and as far as i'm concerned, that's a good thing.  There has been an increase in random spamming and useless posts but there's been an increase in members and posters..what do you expect? There has also been an increase in decent topics and new personalities, exactly what you want on any forum.  You can't have it one way or the other.  Activity is always going to increase after the release of a new game when suddenly 300 new gamers want a piece of the action.  There has been a noticeable increase in the rubbish i've deleted but to be honest i'd say at least 50% of that was from old members.

Still....that doesn't mean i like the zillionth poll on whether Luigi is greater than Mario....bye bye

I agree with the fact we need a new mod, personally id say modS. I cant be arsed with presenting my case for being a mod, but i agree with Alex. Send pictures of your sisters

But i completly disagree with Simon tho, 99% of the veterans here dont post crap as they know how much it annoys people. I just think your views on most things are stuck in the dark ages.

Anyway heres my list of possible new mods for the General and Mkds section - Hedley, Cromwell, Duff, Moly, Cooper, Myles (always thought he would be a great mod), Me   or the lovely April  

Alex and Mark, if you want me to mod add me and i'll keep an eye on it. I'm online daily and im pretty impartial as i know the game but not active.

wow, i'm glad you guys think i'd be an ok mod, but not for the MKDS forums, i hardly ever visit/post there.  if anything though, szabo should do a good job, he's a generally good poster with a sense of humor, and he's been around long enough now that he knows what's acceptable and what's not.  at least sean's not alone now over there, i've thought for a long time now that he shouldnt be the only mod on the forum with the most amount of new members who will most likely spam alot, but i never knew how to bring it up.
