I think any new strat like this which can only be done for a flap should be a glitch. I mean cmon its kinda hard to defend this as a normal way of driving. For me , it will be weird to allow LB and MB but not IB , its not like a glitch
A trick/SC/Glitch, is something like when you jump over a wall, you use lakitu to pass the line , or when you pass the line when not on the track (gp on bc2 gv3 rr ...)
So i'll be surprised to see that strat nor allowed
And you spoke of normal driving, come on nbt are not normal driving yet , for normal driving we have the non-nbt site ^^

Well i'm no the one who decide but still ...

I think it can't be a glitch or anything else... We just lose about 30 seconds to prepare the flap, as at VL1 and VL2, where we lose about 30 seconds to hit blocks for a flap...

yes karel we arent speaking about non nbt driving here Wink

but this strat still remains valid for the main site as its not really a trick or glitch , and its not abusive , well actually i prefer this strat cos its easy to do and we ll have fun to improve the WR now , also because i didnt really like the LB before (so random LB power) , so this strat is quite welcome for the flap

I suggest to put in this thread the charts about this new strat at mc2 and get them updated. And this can help these WRs to be pushed at the limit!

I think it can be a nice challenge as this new strat is really cool and the lap becomes a piece of cake when you are used to create IB easily. I think this battle can be close between a lot of players!

But I would have rather chose these Wink

it seems glitchy to me, but I guess we'll never know for sure
racing like this is different, but I prefer non-IB racing (probably because you can only IB on one track... so far)
racing like this feels different from standard SMK time trialing

Keep in mind, though, that it doesn't bother me either way if the IB is allowed or not. I'm undecided on whether I think it should be allowed or not. But, I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed if LB is allowed.

I do not think it is a glitch. Many drive backwards on the VL tracks. What is the damn difference. You are building up speed. And as far as the LB, you still perform the same strat besides the little extra speed. No different than a really good NBT boost if you ask me.
