I was thinking of a way to keep every one happy with the IBing.

Since the f-lap PR is the lowest time needed to finish a lap, I agree that IB is not more a glitch than LB, and it requires skills to use too...
However, it is very unnatural to set : you have to sacrifice your 5-lap to run for your f-lap. I thus also admit it's a little glitchy anyway (so is LB...)

So why don't we keep the IB in the rankings, but also add a special line for Non-IB MC2 f-lap and make a special ranking, so to keep in records the times achieved without IB ?

Hello,

Well the IB will stay in the rankings as it is. If someone wants to make a small page somewhere for non-IB times on MC2 lap thatl be cool. There is already the Non-NBT page that drive normally anyway, so that pretty much keeps players happy if they want an alternative to IB driving on the fastlap. A lot of fastlaps on smk have different strategies that u cant do in a 5-lap anyway.
