Maybe if you made the green a little lighter, instead of the dark green used now, it would look a little better?

I chose Green because the YaBB moderator star color is green and i cannot modify that without actually changing the graphic file of the mod star image. I guess that could be a project for someone if they really wanted to do it...

Come up with alternative graphics to replace the stars. Maybe karts or turtle shells or something kart themed... perhaps different ones for different categories like Admin/Board Masters/Mods/Titans/Legends/etc...

Just save one of the stars to get the dimensions of the graphic file and try to keep it as small a size as possible.

Then I can change the colors of the Admin/Board Master/Mod names to something that doesn't necessarily need to match the color of the stars/new graphics.

Reply #5 - 07/07/06 at 14:31:30 I think just making it slightly lighter in color shouldn't be a problem, because your Red name is legible because it's a lighter red than the lowest red on the scale. I haven't seen the lighter test colors, but I'm not opposed to making the stars into different images as well.

So you can't just use any colour, only from a preset selection? In my tests, I found that 00ff00 was the best, although it was a bit to light. If you can't get it, do you have anything close to it? It may not necessarily be better than the new colour, which is better than the old one, but a bit too light. Or maybe the new colour is 00ff00?

Edit: I've tested a few more in the random spam topic. 00ff00, 00fa00, 00f400, and 00ef00.
