The last campaign? there wasn't - just me saying why i deserved to win.

However, if i'd got through to the next round, I did have something which no one would have seen coming.

Oh well theres always next year.

I personally dont see a problem with changing tack and making a new campaign per match if you're targetting a different audience. You seem to have a problem with people making lots of topics, you must seriously HATE Pobre then.

One last point to make tho

You could quite easily say that the others mentioned didn't slag anyone off like Marius did. You're posts contradict as you backed Marius who as I said in another thread copied every move i made.

I wasn't trying to be like everyone else, you miss the boat on that. I know i'm not as popular as some of the people around here and therefore I was creative, i used my skill base and what i'm good at to beat mark. I could've done something similar against Marius but I chose not to.

Is the contest about being the best karter? No.. its about popularity. Popularity can be won and lost in an instant both online and in the real world. I was using my skills to boost my popularity, someone compared me to an election campaign. Although unlike most politicians (even "Bush the terrorist") I delievered on my promises.

In the meantime lets get back to the contest.

In the grand scheme of things this contest is meaningless. Its sole intention was to provide a fun thing for this community to participate in. You guys are taking it way too seriously and, in my opinion, driving all of the fun from it.

So let's recap:

- Campaigning for votes by highlighting why people should vote for you: OK

- Campaigning for votes by PMing everyone who signs onto the board: LAME
- Campaigning for votes by slandering your opponent: LAME
- Campaigning for votes by promising something to people who vote for you: Makes you a whore
- Making racially motivated comments: Makes you a close-minded fool
- Bitching and moaning after you lose (whether deservedly or undeservedly): Makes you not a good sport

Btw - I am inclined to agree with Cromwell - i'd say anything was fair game. The only reason i didn't get involved with the slanging match yesterday with Moly was because i thought he would be penalised for it. Seems like I was the one penalised.

Penev knows what was said yesterday by Marius to me unprovoked. - He modded most of the posts before Michael Liem even saw them. Penev, I think its time you backed me in this.

To say I was egging his is bullshit - i did nothing of the sort - i've got a right to reply and i did so according to Liems post last week about etiquette.

If anyone has the mod power to look/bring back deleted or edited posts then they should.

I think they should post here i dunno - lets say 20 of Marius posts towards me from any of the 3/4 threads.

Why would you not want it to be public knowledge that you were asking me to DQ Marius? If there was merit in the request then I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to be public knowledge. Furthermore, asking me about the PM you sent me on a public board brings that PM into public discussion. If you didn't want that PM brought into public discussion you shouldn't have asked me about it on a public board.
