Well that's not true. Scientology is a recent religion and fits your example. It's quite strange. But no surprise, since it was written up by a hack sci-fi author (Hubbard) who had mental problems. He wrote some sci-fi gibberish, and published it. Rumour has it that it was all part of a bet with another guy on who could create the silliest religion. When he saw that people were starting to follow him, he freaked out and went into hiding 'til his death. Now, who honestly has respect for scientologists? That's right. The wrongest thing ever is to respect someone's opinion "just because they have one". If they have stupid opinions and really should know better... well yeah, they deserve to be ridiculed. Granted, the kart gods are just part of a joke, but still...

I have read these last few pages and I am just lost. Religious debates, smelly feet, kart gods, Godwin's Law LOL and other weird stuff. So what went wrong here that it sparked all this weird debate.

Had pobre won, would there have been a similar outcry? I feel that Fried winning is what this is really all about.
