Well nick, he's actually my second cousin

we started at the same time around christmas 2003 and we found the pp like 2 months later and started to compete, the rest is history

btw. I'm at his place right now and getting prepared for dreamhack this weekend!
Strongman is a very tough sport, more of an exhibition sport though, it's always nice to use your body to lift awkward and heavy stuffs, it's the real way to meassure who's the strongest guy

i'm not the type who looks ripped as hell and want to show in on stage with the body full of oil, i rather train for functional strength!
Bench press is a good way to meassure the upper body strength but it's not saying much for the overall strength.. I would say deadlift is the best way to see how strong you really are.
I've done almost 400pounds in bench (i think it's around there converted from kg) and over 600 pounds in the deadlift

Haha andrew, don't be shy man!

@alaktorn
Just search for it on youtube

i started in late 2009 at a bw of 60kg, gained almost 40kg first year, ate a lot and trained like crazy, i'm around 102kg today with much less fat than 3 years ago though, took a lot of supplements like gainer, vitamins etc. The first 2 years but nowadays i just eat ordinary food, whatever i want and whenever i want, don't have a strict routine, that's the good thing about strongman

hardest thing is to not lose weight
Key thing is to not be afraid to eat much when you're training hard, especially when you want to get big and strong.
