As far as climate goes, Seattle would be ideal for me. Their winters aren't as cold and their summers aren't as warm, it would be perfect for me. If I didn't have so much going on in Madison I'd probably move there some day.

I'm from Chicago, so our temps are pretty much the same.

Chicago just went through a pretty brutal winter (word has it, it's been like this all the time in the 70's)

it was averaging about -10>-6 without the wind chill, and it was even snowing in april, with some days in april being in the low 20's>10's.

shit's insane. don't remember a colder winter.

Where in WI are you? I'm a little southwest of the Twin Cities and we got about 2 inches last week. About 40 miles north of us got 8-10 inches, though. I was glad not to be part of that crap.

From what I've heard, the Twin Cities are usually worse in the winter than Madison is. I'll be going there in June to watch a couple of baseball games, luckily the Brewers will be there after it warms up instead of early in the season.
