Felt like playing some MKDD, so I hooked up my roommate's spare Cube and finished off the job I started last time I played.

LC: 1'20"905 #491 (AB) -> 1'19"540 #329 (ED)
Now my second-best time behind the flap, as well as my second Expert.

Since I wanted to play some more after getting the sub, I made a quick stop on another track.

MB: 1'29"613 #692 (IA) -> 1'26"212 #455 (AA)
28"786 #580 (AC) -> 28"061 #450 (ED)
Flap was lap 2 of 3lap. Neither is very good, but quick PRs are fun regardless.

16.5 AF cut, should move me up 15 spots and get me promoted to Advanced C. It's been a while since I've had cuts like these. Grin

Hi everyone ! After my last PR in february 2008, i'm back !!
In fact, i only improve two times a little but ... That's something Shocked

It was quite hard and i feel that i'm really far away from my former lever.

BP: 8.586 -> 8.558
YC: 32.729 -> 32.707 (i can't believe that my lap record has almost 10 years ...)

For the second one, i have like 2.5 turbo left compared to the WR strat. I don't see how i could put 4 turbos in the last part before the shroom.

I will try to stay motivated and continue improving some times.
I would love to have one time in the top ten again.

And if someone can tell me how to post times, i don't remember Shocked

I realized a day or two after my last post that I was spacing out my MTs too much, so I decided to give MB another go before heading home for the holidays.

Mushroom Bridge:
1'26"212 #456 (AA) -> 1'21"942 #166 (HC)
28"061 #453 (ED) -> 26"721 #162 (HC)
Splits: 27"6/"0/"1.
I worked on the flap first. Improved fairly rapidly to 27"464 and then 26"999 before getting stuck for a while chasing after my first Hero. Thanks to not missing MTs and some help from Chris for when to start the lap, I cut straight from 26"955 to 26"721. After that, I had some really nonsensical 3lap PR: if I recall correctly, it was a 1'24"8 with laps of 27"7/30"0/27"1. Since I had some extra time on my hands, I worked on the 3lap this morning. First knocked my time down to 1'22"818 with laps of 27"6/"2/"9, with a car hit and several missed MTs lap 3, before hitting my current PR (which is really solid by my standards).

18.2 AF cut, should move me up to #566. My timesheet will look really silly now: two times inside the Top 200 when my AF is over 600, and 2 Heroes when my ARR is low Advanced. Grin

Forgot to mention I played another 10-15 minutes the other day.

Wario Colosseum:
2'09"497 #376 (ED) -> 2'07"018 #265 (EB)
1'04"056 #364 (EC) -> 1'02"890 #253 (EB)
Splits: 1'03"846/"172.
Both laps of the 2lap were consecutive flap PRs. Got the sub on my first completed 2-shroomer. I didn't bother watching any vids, so I don't know if my shroomspots are optimal. I can't seem to do the mid-air MT at the drop before the big circle thing at the bottom of the track, so I always shroom there. My 2nd shroom for the flap was used one MT after the zipper just before that drop because I always seem to go wide there normally.

6.9375 AF cut (30.125 total), should get me to #535.

Nice one J-C, does this make you feel that you could play again?

I'm actually working on ws and I seek for some advice. I got some nice PR so far, 1'39'268 and 31'333. I can't find a way to reliably jump on the left side of the first jump. I always find myself hitting a fireball. And when I do cross it, I feel like this is a miracle. And for the total, do you guys use a 1-1-0 strategy? Everything I tried so far couldn't help me to avoid having piranhas on my way on the second lap. But I feel like it's the best for me at the moment.
