I'm now trying to get my MB 3lap down to Titan C, mainly because I realized I can gain .1 on laps 2 and 3 in my PR. The opener is still my best split, because it was and still is very strong. I've now driven a few low 26.3 2-shroomers, and maybe a 26.2 but I don't remember. My last lap split is now 26.870, over .1 better than my PR's lap 3. So far I've driven three more 1:20s: two 1:20.9s and a 1:20.8. I think the latter had a missed MT though, so a Titan C is there Playing is more fun and easier now because I have nothing to lose, because I need two good last laps to PR. I'm never nervous because I know I need to drive well and catch up, and I've also gotten better at passing the truck at the start of lap 3. I definitely can reach Titan C, and I'm still trying the flap when I mess up the first lap. A Titan+ is possible, but it would take a really good lap

After messing up 3laps for an hour, I started trying flaps when I messed up openers. I hit a few high 26.2s and then BAM! This lap was very tight the whole time, and feels pretty maxed too. I don't know if I can lower this any more, but I am wondering what font color I would use for a Myth time  I'm still going for the Titan C 3lap, all I got today was a 1:21.03 with two missed MTs. If I'm right, this gets me to Expert C overall. Still 6 courses left

Yes still no A-Tech, so I have an old MKDD GOD without new strategies, the way it was intended  The old GODs in SMK are much easier (I have over 25/40), but very inconsistent compared to today's standards. The MKDD ones are still pretty consistent, which makes them feel even more meaningful

And now last night's 3 am PR...

MB: 1:20.672 (Titan C, ~#85)

All 3 laps in this PR were better than the ones in my previous PR  After a while I started hitting 27.3 openers somewhat often, and this race had a 27.34. My new best split is 27.299, although I could probably do a mid 27.2 if I really tried. Lap 2 was 26.40, which is again pretty good but a small SSMT mistake with the wall on the bridge lost some time. I was a bit nervous starting lap 3 and had a very shaky transition from the first to the second tunnel, but I finished strong and got all the SSMTs for a nice 26.93 0-shroomer  Overall it was a very good race, no missed MTs and no big mistakes. I definitely did not expect to get Titan C by this much, and I hope I can make another cut like this on the flap...

I think I can get a 1:19 on LC with a good lap, but all in all the mushroom cup is starting to look good.

^Wow, 4 more Experts! Just keep playing and you can get most of them pretty soon. I remember when I was at your level on MB I still didn't really know what I was doing. If you spend time with the course and really learn the strat, you will definitely surprise yourself I also remember my sub 2:10 on WC, I had like 4 low 2:10s and then I hit a high 2:08. If you're not using L-Tech there, than you can lower your times much more. Air MTs also help, but take a bit of time to learn.

I guess all I needed was a piece of duct tape and 15 minutes...

WC: 2:04.077 and 1:01.612 (Hero C, ~#125 and Hero C, ~#135)

I tried fixing the L button with duct tape and it worked  I then went to WC to see if I could still L-Tech, but then I realized how crappy my old PRs were. 15 minutes later, I drove a 2:04.9 with a 1:02.1 1-shroomer  I then started trying for a clean flap, and a long two hours and many tiny cuts later I finally finished my first flap without missed MTs, and it is still my PR. It shouldn't be too hard to beat, but a Hero B sounds tough. The 2lap was just a flap attempt with a very good opener (1:02.3, WTF?), and a late missed MT was the only reason lap 2 wasn't a new flap PR. I will definitely try for the sub, hopefully it won't take that long. The opener was amazing though  Also, if you remove all my one-try times, my ARR is now Hero B  Getting 32/32 Heroes will be a good challenge, although one I know I can do.

kuigi: not bad, but your BP Flap is particularly good considering your current level. I wouldn't be surprised if you're able to pass me up in the near future if you continue looking to improve your game, much like Andrew K exploded once he reached his first Hero time.

YC: 1'47"449 > 1'46"406 lot's of mistakes, would like the hero standard.
YC: 34"495 > 34"125 this flap was tougher than i thought to bring down. The sub is definetely on my list here.

I don't know but it works like this: When you have both 50 and 60hz times you always have to tell what hertz the pr's are (and it's not this case but sending 50 and 60hz pr's in the same message isn't possible either)..
