People who play Mario Kart in multiplayers know that when you don't have any more shells in stock, when you don't have any other choice, you must use your own kart as a weapon to stop your adversary before he crosses the line, dude in the video is the good example

I scored 174 (out of the 196 countries on the test). One try. Not too surprisingly, most of the ones I missed were small island nations, but there were a handful of mainland European, African, and Asian countries I failed to recognize-- all smaller ones, but I'm still a little embarrassed that I didn't get them. Two of them achieved independence fairly recently so I can forgive myself of those since my world maps are all over 10 years old.

After the test you're shown what percentage of test takers correctly identified each country. I got a few that <10% of players got right, while the "easiest" country that I missed was correctly identified by 26% of players (and that's the one I'm most ashamed of missing). Another country was recognized by 20% of users but not by me; this is one of the world's newer countries (but I really still should have thought of it).

Only about 8% of test takers tied or beat my score.

I just now saw this on the website Supper Mario Broth. It's a description of the arcade version of Super Mario Bros.

I never took any advanced math classes beyond pre-calculus so I just found out about Graham's Number today.

We've all heard about addition, multiplication, and exponentation but who here knows about tetration, pentation, and hexation? You can't even express numbers this size as a stack of exponents (known as a "power tower"), instead you have to use what is known as up-arrow notation in order to visually depict Graham's Number, you cannot write this number out in full or even as a power tower.

And supposedly there is an even bigger number out there, known as TREE(3). Hmm...

Learning about such incomprehensibly vast numbers was eye-opening for me, I must say. For those of you who took an advanced math course in high school or college, this will not be anything new to you, and you may even just assume that most people are aware of numbers of this scale and the mathematical operations required to produce them. (We don't.) I wish we could have been taught about tetration, pentation, and hexation in my high school math classes. Maybe I just wasn't taking an advanced enough class. But it is incredibly fascinating.

This has got to be the single greatest anti-smoking PSA of all time. It aired on American television a few years ago. I really can't think of a better way to drive the point home. For those who haven't started smoking yet, if this doesn't convince you to not start, I don't know what will.
