I almost gave up a few days ago, since I couldn't get past the water section lap 2, but I decided to start taking the right path on the water, eventhough it's slower, but still fast enough to beat polt run.

What are your best splits?

That's hard to tell, since it matters a lot how early you go past the finish line. I've got a few 13.7s already but some of them crossed the finish line much earlier and they weren't actually faster (One of it was a 13.736).

For lap 2 I have a 13.404, and lap 3 a 12.920, but again I'm not sure how accurate those are for best splits.

Yeah it’s hard to say, it’s why my split is down as a ″9xx. I’m pretty sure it was an ″8xx but it might’ve crossed the line slightly early.

It would suck to go without BKSes though so just knowing what time you got following approximately the WR line would be fine. I’ll add the l2/3 and I’ll add your WR lap 1 I guess.

Getting 2 fast shroomer SCs in one run would be very hard, appart from the non-SC cut and ST RB itself. There's still a lot of room from improvement with current strats.

Also, KB2 12.635.

Finally a good ending strat I think. Getting past the water section is very hard so I don't think I'll improve this for now.

(And yeah, got this before midnight today).

Very good lap 2 though. Edit: RR 1:39.111 (32.004 / 33.577 / 33.530) Overall better run, eventhough I was almost 0.3 behind my ghost at the end of lap 2.

So I have a question: are you using A+B to turn around for the pipe SC? Or rather, what even is the optimal way to turn around for these SCs? I know A+B slows you down more than simply B if you’re at high speed (it’s speed % based while B is a value-based decrease) but I don’t even know if slowing down more means turning more.

Rupa said he does this: A+B → A is pipe SC way. 1st SC way is A+B → no input or tapping A.
Then added: IDK A+B turn well or not. Compared no input or B. Maybe not? cause suuper's RR TAS doesn't use A+B much.
Edit: Watching the STD RB TAS both SCs are done A+B → B → A; sounds logical. There’s more B than A+B though, I guess it’s only better at the start of slowing down.

There’s also the drift strategy the TAS does on the loop at the end that might be faster, and maybe the RMT → LMT lap transition instead of the opposite?
