wouldnt that slightly alter the driving line too? i dont think thats acceptable, i think only the yoshi time should be counted... also i was thinking, couldnt people theoretically alter the input of the live ghosts at certain time to create better times?

I used dry bones, but put Rob in for the live replay. On the final lap, I clipped some grass quite heavily, and because Rob slowed down more he somehow took a tighter line. It only got .002 faster but w/e.

Yeah they could. If TB1 runs a new live replay with dry bones now then you won't be able to see that it isn't his "real" run anymore. If he hadn't said he actually used yoshi then he could've tricked us easily Tongue

Part of the trust system i guess. Even if some people decide to "cheat" this way it's at least only very minor improvements you get out of it

AR is a device that let's us make live replays not improve our times.

Even if it is thousandths, when does it become okay or not. You did not drive that time so no.

I believe in the trust system for the best times and I think you guys are mature enough to not pull antics like this.

Moral of the story, always use dry bones!

nonprb are not wr's, they are sr's, lol

I disagree because, up until the very end, he had kept prb for the whole time. Therefore the drive would have been identical, because the variation in kart weight would not have been an affecting factor. The only point where the run changed was right at the very end, where he lost prb and barely touched the mud. Well, maybe I'm bullshitting, but I actually think this should be allowed Grin

Well if that is how it happened then it's a little more plausible. I still say no though for what etch said.
Plus the visional illusion in how the characters bend when MTing which does affect your turning a little as well Tongue

Or maybe illusion is the wrong word for it as it isn't an illusion. The character does bend more. The turn is just the same anyway.
