A good solution for this is needed. It is either up to David and René to come up with a nice solution or the Proof/moderators will come out with probabbly something less favourable.

I think a good thing to do is that the times from Rene needs to be added to Rene's profile and Davids old times on these courses need to be filled. But for this there don't need any more jokes within this story. And eventually come up with proof, at least as it is validated by some proof moderator. If this is all done Respect wil still be earned.

To some of the karters:
Its isn't a nice solution to get 2 of the best karters get removed.

While that is true, how do you suppose we can EVER trust them now? It's not like this is the first stunt they pull, either. Hoarding, accusing of cheating, lying to several karters.... the list goes on. If they want to be back on the site I suggest they change their whole way of acting, send videos of every pr they have and prove in some way that it is in fact schiering or bauer that it's that specific time that's driven.

The level of trust was already questionable, but now it's severely damaged, and I think beyond repair.

I'm not happy about the fact that 2 of the best Karter in the world are removed. allthough they give the Kart team a pretty hard job by complaining and this joke. It seems fair because this community is build on trust and this breaks the rules of trust. But still.

I hope that David and René come back and show vids from the courses they are being doubt on. I'm not happy that 2 top 10 players are removed.

If Rene & David provide some nice proof, maybe other people in the community will feel some lenience towards them, since their stunt was very short-lived.

Vince is designated Proof Mod, so I guess he can delete them for now if he wants to. Shocked

Yes. its just that I think that they told the truth now. And a joke should not have be punished like this. allthougt I understand the Mario Kart team. I hope David and René wil understand this too but come back to join the force. they used to have been validated and also showed vids of allready being top 10 players. If we set back for both players the old times. nothing happened. and if they submit new times the proof call for them will be the same as for other players around. Their former times are proofed and are real and still top10. They are for sure one of the best players around.
I think its the best solution to put back the old times for both players and still have them on our site.
If they are not happy with that the can ask their times to be removed, its then their decission. If they come up with new times they need to proof just like other players need to. also because to get the trust back in these players.

I hope David and René realise that they can earn their respect from the kart community if they just come back and play like others do. and don't make it too hard for the Mario Kart team. because the MKDD team consists of volunteering much time. Its not fun for the team either because of so much work and something like this.

Damn, im just back from crazy dutch land and all i get to see on this board is this bullshit.

David and Rene are two of the players, who got mad about mariokart. They take a game too serious.
If you ask Moly all these times are just fake and bullshit and all you people talk and talk and talk and talk over and over again about this shit.

Plese forget about that, because non of these times are true, i know Schiering and Rene, theyre both friendly fellows, but concerning computer games, they are like dumb and dumber.

I have to agree with Gregor. After pulling this prank on MKDD, you jeopardized the integrity of German players everywhere. I have respect for anyone who has achieved top times but if you're dishonest about your times, it makes me question your character. One thing that boggles my mind, why would anyone want to cheat, ever? Embarrassed

Even if some of their times where achieved, I don't want them back. It's hard enough that one player lied about their times but, two.... :'(

I hope everyone here takes this game more seriously in terms of the competition but also stay honest with your times. I love this game and I'm proud of what I accomplished but I NEVER thought about or have cheated.

that's all everybody. I hope everyone who reads this feels the same shame that I feel towards MKDD players who cheat.

Please keep it honest, real and enjoy your karting experience.

So, its a double cheat to play 50Hz and invent times.

I really wish split rankings. Its not so much work for Alex...and i think he even has some fun creating them.

Its no solution that more and more players (even American players) switch to 50Hz...we have to stop that!

I dont understand that even Alex and Vince dont see this. Its a shame to the game. nearly everyone here on the board is pissed and every 2nd post is about the 50/60Hz issue.

Dont you think time has come to change something? Never before the difference between 50 and 60Hz was so obvious like in nowadays.

I completely agree. I am proud of what I have accomplished as well and none of my times even come close to the top 100 in this game. I play for fun and see how much I can improve. But Those two german nerds take this game way to serious and get bent out of shape b/c of unacheivable standards and decided to combine times? That is the lamest thing I have read in a long time. I have no respect for them at all.
