Any tricks/hints to help me beat this please. I have tried for an hour and can not and am very frusterated.

Well Jason, you came to the right place. On Lakeside Park, get the boost at the start, MT on the first curve then then another MT on the third curve. Bacicly do a MT on every tight curve on this couse, and at the jump and after the jump, get the boosts. And always make sure you stay over 10 coins to drive with speed, if your using Mario (which you should be) then Bowser and DK are easy to aim and hit with shells, get an item from everty set. Also Dodge the lava eggs. Then on Broken Peir, stay with 10 coins or over, don't do any MTs and just focus on where your going, don't hit the boos (they steal coins), use mushrooms in straitways, aim shells at Bowser and DK on straitways, don't go too fast on turns, try not to fall off the edge or go on the bouncey ramps, stay on course and really focus on this track. I'm gonna post Bowsers Castle 4 and Rainbow Road in a minute.

on lakeside park use the jumper ramps at the end... cuts like 5 seconds of the lap time (get a shroom or use the zipper on the ground)

on broken pier if your using bowser just drive it don't get hit by boos and stay on the track even if it means using the brakes

BC4 is simple just drive it, don't hit anything

RR stay on the track and use the jumps to cut corners

follow that and you'll get 1st on all tracks... its no *** strat (i think i got c or b Tongue

) but it does the trick lol

EDIT: thank god I unlocked retro mushroom in TT. I think i got the hardest part out of the way. collecting 100 coins and placing will be a breeze. than i can submit a full AF soon!

Anyways, mansakes, either MKSC is harder than MKDS and MKDD, or I have much worse intuition about how to play this game! Getting above an A ranking on the Grand Prix may be out of the question, I dunno!

two more things to help anyone (as i'm unlocking them again on my second cart)

1) you can retry - you get three lives.. use them if need be
2) and with the coins - its not 25 per track but over a 100 in total on the four, so there are some courses you can hit about 30/40 and make up for those where you will get less (sky garden and rainbow road spring to mind)
