I'm no expert on MKSC but I've played some before, back in the day, here's my input.

The powerslide thing has a really different feel compared to MKDD and MKDS-- you hop and then slide for at least a second or so, and if you don't end up in the gravel or running into an obstacle, you get a powerboost. There's no clear indicator as in DD and DS, and you there's an upper limit time wise on how many powerslides you can do. Also, I don't think there's anything like snaking in Super Circuit.

IMO the game has a very "loose" feel to it, driving is not as precise an enterprise as with DD and MKDS.

What the game does have, to make up for lack of snaking, is tons and tons of shortcuts-- some legit, some not. This is a game where you do need to pay close attention to the rules made by the site.

1. When the second light begins to burn and Lakitu goes up..
2. I never did it w/h a hop.. I also never done it through the gras, because it feels not right to me.. Maybe I'll start doing it once I go competing on the site.. Just make a sharp turn and then hop again to straighten and you'll notice the power boost comes out.. Wink

The video is mine and i got it on DS, but that it's not even a real SSMT because it starts by a short left turn.

The real SSMT that Hirano get with Toad is different and i'm unable to get it using the GBA player (with CG stick) nor with Ps2 dual shock on PC emulator (playing in slow motion too).

BTW the Hirano SSMT need much time to be charged...

BTW, Super_Luigi_64, are you tronmaster64 on cyberscore who has the gold in "my" MKDS mission 3-2?

Well it's seems that coins count at least a bit and i'm sure they matter in real life Roll Eyes

BTW, i received today my new MKSC cartridge that i plan to use for non ticking TT!
I played all the 50cc/100cc/150cc cups and the 150cc with over 100 coins.
I've so unlocked all i need for TT (i played a bit TT too).
Finally i can see my ghost while playing non ticking!
The cartridge is American and it plays exactly like my old one (european): same speed, same feeling, same all.
