Well i've copied and i've edited one of my old messages:

Mt'ing is pure timing and practice will help to get it easily, but in my experience most MTs have to be learned separately.

Anyway my experience on MT:
You have to think at an invisible power indicator.
When you slide the power grows up
When the power is max the MT can come up (just go straight for a while or jump and land straight).
When the power is max and you keep on sliding or turning too much time, the kart will loose the control.
If the kart goes off road, the power will go to zero very fast.
You can accumulate the power in one or more sliding, but pay attention to not let too much time elapsing between the slides.

As for getting MT faster, you have to get some risk and feel how much exactly you have to powerslide in order to get the MT.
