I'm sorry, but requiring videos for something to be considered a world record is extremely unfair to those who simply don't have the proper equipment. The Japanese gamers have a very strong history of coming up with insane scores for games. There have been many instances where Japanese scores were disputed for years and many thought they were lies, but then the strategies were revealed and they all proved to be legit.

I also agree it should be "site records" instead of world records. Calling times on this site the world records when there clearly are better ones is just an extremely selfish thing to do.

No Japanese player has a camara that can record a vid or know someone who does... be realistic... they basically invented that shit... many of the records on the site aren't proven im not saying they have to be proven but if your gonna send a crazy time we need proof that it isn't PRB first off and wrs should be proven if possible

and as for wrs being srs... not gonna happen... like i said the japanese have every opportunity to join and submit times... but we cannot just take their times and put them up without there permission and without being sure they are true (them submitting would be a certain amount of proof to that effect in the short term)

if you can afford a DS and MKDS, you can afford a digital camera (not top quality but you can get one at least for proof purposes)

Well that's their problem, not ours.  If they can't show proof then they don't get recognition for the WRs.  That's how all WR competitions are.  Not requiring proof is unfair to the people who do show proof.

As I said, that's irrelevant.  Just because some Japanese people are honest, that doesn't mean all Japanese people deserve to be automatically given trust they haven't earned.

Then what did you mean by "and the PRB issue............AGAIN............well, that's your own fault for making up those rules!!!"?  What's my fault?  When I said they're suspicious, I meant prb times are suspicious for prb times and the non-prb times are suspicious for non-prb times.  I thought that was common sense, everyone knows they allow prb.

If I start a new WR book, then should guiness have to switch to the term book record?  No because guiness is more official and well known.

It's going to be funny when you get flamed the shit out of for being a dumbass.

They're most likely using PRB, plainly because they have no rules against it.  This is the foremost site of MKDS records, therefore we have a decent amount of authority to call something a WR or not, and we don't accept PRB times.  I'm sure you understand that.  PRB is a bunch of crap, it's not an intended maneuver in the game, but Time Trials do mean for you to "get around the track as fast as possible".  For now, we leave it to the people in the higher echelons of this site to decide what's going down.  I say the Japs are cheaters.
