Haha. Well, I know it has gone wrong in the past ( Roll Eyes

), but I like to keep red shells as a backup so I can use it if it looks like one of the CPUs will be in the way. Their karts have no hitbox while they are spinning from the shell impact, so you have to time your shot well.

Though I will always discard the red shell before the next item pick-up obviously.

I almost feel ready to try playing some other tracks (or god forbid even trying to use some items!!!), as I'm slowly trying to get used to playing GP so I don't suck so badly this year at cdm.
