Edit: mushroom icon is obviously the shroomspot, the orange spark icon is the MT spot

My flap strats are only guess... i'm pretty sure on PC and MC.
On BC1 and MC1 i did only few tests.
On BC1 i think the shroomspot beyond the humps is mandatory, because you cannot cut any part of the track, so the best shroomspot is in the longest straight part.
Obviously you have to jump all the humps during the shroom, but that is easier to do than to say.

Luca, i'm going to add the picture files to the mksc yahoo groups files page. I'm also going to make that only for time submissions etc.

Alex Penev has been doing loads of work for me behind the scenes. If any of you know him or want to say a big thankyou for his help so far i'm sure he'll appreciate it!

I'll work on diagramming more of the flap shroom spots etc

Nice maps! I like the icons. Maybe shrooms could have a different line colour, so that we see when they wear off, but it's not all that necessary since we know when to activate them.

Luca, if it's not too much trouble, could you post the best times you get with these strats? (And also what character you used. That would be useful. It might help modification, if people posted their best times with the same character using different strategies/variations.

i got 19"75 2 shroom on a shitty lap... you can get like 15 or better i think

i know a lot of SC on SG.
I used two SCs in this video (16"50 first lap, first try  ):

Third shroom is wrong, maybe you have to do it on the left of the final path or maybe at the start of the lap (try to cut some road).
I'm not sure both the SCs i used are allowed.

The last big SC it's not forbidden by the track rules, but a general rule say that major SC's are not allowed.
So i dont know really...

I also find you BC1 1-lap a little strange. If you aren't using a shroom after the first corner, then could you not get a blue boost there instead?

The way I do it is to boost round the first corner, then boost over the little jumps, and then boost to the finish. I can't get the blue boost just before the lava so I think this is where I am losing the most time. I am on 13"58 at the moment, and I think that's about the best I can do for now. BC1 is definately one of my worst tracks. Too much high powered precision.
