After, I don't know my next aim, but I'm guessing if I won't have to do NBT quickly, cos since yesterday, at least 75% of the zigzag boosts I try to do in a crashed lap - to come back faster at top speed - have worked ! Shocked

But as usual, every reign has an end ! And after MKSC, Sebastian also dethroned me at SMK PAL non-NBT.

Congratulations man, and good luck for your 40/40 GOD's quest. It's just a matter of time as I have no doubt you'll do it, but doing it before the end of the year would be awesome !

^Of course he'll get to overall GOD, but yes doing it before 2013 would be scary. Good luck to him, and also it's interesting to note that he has at some point held every non-NBT GOD but BC2 5lap...does anyone else wonder what he could do on NTSC Shocked

For some reason I was reading this thread and felt shocked when I realized I hadn't even posted a message to congratulate Seb for his wonderful achievement...

So, even if I'm reacting almost one year after, superb job Seb, and it's great to see you've managed to reach 40/40 GOD times. I'm trying to do the same on the NBT side and it's a real pain in the ass, I admire your perserverance and motivation to reach "an arbitrary target set by Sami & co" (Karel).

I'm still waiting for you on RR to see how far you can go there!

I guess it depends on the person if you are motivated to go for ARR specific goals. I always kinda liked how the MK64 people (well, most of them) treat the standards. Also, that they never changed them even after having some strat improvements. Obviously, in SMK the standards needed some changes after the discovery of NBT but I would have liked to see the "old" standards as the non-nbt standards. One can argue that some of them could be achieved too easily with waterslides and island jumps but I don't think it is bad to have some weaker GOD times. It may give lower-ranked players some motivation to learn advanced strats and try to get a first GOD time quite early in their karting "career".

Well, I don't have much free time at the moment and don't want to spend it on SMK. When I play next time, I'll probably play VL2 flap again. I actually enjoyed playing that and I believe I already crashed a possible WR there (hard to say when your PR is "15 away from the WR).

Good luck getting the remaining Myth+ times!

Edit: I might be wrong looking at the old standards...
