About the videos... i think i have at least one Bc2 3lap from Blasthornet/Hirano.
It's possible it's faster than the WR (some of his videos are only for demonstration).
I'll check this evening and i'll upload it on some filesharing site.

Japaneses dont provide videos for fast lap.

Bowser has the top speed faster than Toad.
Toad is used by Blasthornet for all his WRs.
Bowser is used by all others players in almost any chart.
Note that, in some of the WR's, Toad is used to perform the SSMT that is the hardest tech in MKSC and as far i know, is done by using some alternative controller.

Another thing, i've found Mt'ing with Toad harder than using Bowser. I dont use Toad usually, but i never got the first turn grass cut in PC with Toad when i played it for flap...

Moreover talking with an italian community of arcade players, i've discovered that japaneses are used to hack the arcade controllers too!
Best shoot'em up players ask the machine owner for adding a couple of autofire buttons with variable fire speed and they adjust the speed in order to maximize the score.

now at peach circuit I have a 45"25: 15"30 + 15"00 + 14"95 (time with toad was 45"75) and best splits: 15"11 + 14"82 + 14"82 = 44"75

mini boosts on the grass are too hard no succeed for the moment

Yesterday I finally got a 59"93 at BC 2! I' m so happy, a long time I wanted to be under 1 minut

best splits are: 19"93 + 19"80 + 19"80 = 59"53!
but I can improve my time thanks to the shroom (I touch the wall too early), the max for me is about: 19"80 + 19"60 + 19"60 = 59"00.
I would like to know how to do the zig zag mini boosts :'(
