before going to the ft u should try going to the right side man...
also try that AB spin start (going to the right doing that is very easy)

when lakitu puts u back ab spin back and to the side and keep AB spinning after the shroom so u can align your kart to the side...

u can improve that a lot, but u must take the risks
u can also finish those laps a lot earlier

I remember testing out that mt, and you def. lose by doing it. (I found it hard to believe when I was told so, but had to admit it

But ok, I can try not to use it though I was defenitely slower on those attempts during my last session on BB (just before my PR run). Maybe I just don't know at which spot I have to release the MT?
