1)instant messages: make this tab larger or notify members of new messages by a popup or by email.

2)refreshing the page: anytime you accidentally leave this page by clicking on another link or going somewhere else, the page refreshes erasing all your text.

3)a small banner to the SMK site: this message board probably receives more unique hits than any of the players sites. also, some people might search "mario kart" forums and not find anything unless having searched "message board." is there a way to have this appear in google if someone searches mario kart forums?

is this place even open source?
