I think you'd be able to improve significantly by changing your strategy. (Seconds would come off easily, I assure you.) See if you can find a Japanese video somewhere. Maybe yes, maybe no

The main point is
-Which strat you used
-Which tecnique you used

E.g.
Peach Circuit 50" is good if you dont use tree/wall ticking and you dont boost over the grass
My times in Peach Circuit are
-44"36 with Bowser using tree ticking
-48"23 with Bowser without tree ticking but using miniboost on the grass
-50"45 with Toad without any tecnique (only normal shrooming and miniboosting, in other words NON NBT)
