^ I actually tried both the big-sand NBT and the last-corner one, and got very similar results on both routes, but ultimately decided on last corner since I am used to that (my 58"53 5lap uses this route), and I'm not as consistent at big sand. However, I'm going to have to get better at big sand for a 5lap improvement since it can be followed up by first corner, allowing for 3 NBTs per lap (I currently only do 2). I feel that PAL is more improvable at the moment and will try to get closer to the one-minute barrier there (next time I play PAL, that is) using 3-NBT if I can't break it outright.

New Non-NBT PR for MC4 PAL. I decided, why not take a video, especially since this run was so clean with me not hitting any pipes or walls, nor pausing the game.

After working on this course NBT-style earlier in the week, I was up for a go at Non-NBT, even hough my hands really weren't, and cramps made PRing here harder than it should have been. If not for that, then maybe 1'41"xx might have been within the realm of possibility...? Roll Eyes

^ I might have to give that strat another go. It looks like it can be improved upon, as the first and third NBTs could have gone a good bit deeper into the sand. Anybody know the fastest lap achieved here without the flatboost finish? I think I've pushed my last-corner-NBT strat about as far as I'm willing to.

I remember the day Karel drove the first sub 1'30", it was on that legendary 2009 pi-day with the Nantes Fun Cup. We all learned about it the morning after on the MB and I think nobody would have ever imagined this was not gonna be the last possible barrier there. Congrats once again Smiley
