HOW DO U DEAL WITH ROAD RAGE?

Im sure almost all of you out there have gotten so pist at a game u were ready-to or have destroyed equipment! I personally have bad road rage and have broken like two gameboy advances a playstation, several game, 3 n64 controllers and my game cube controlelers have bottons that wont work properly. just last night i slamed my controller hard enough against my dresser than the entire left side of the controller didnt work. i then took it out back and swung it violently
on the cement and now have it hanging from my roof by a noos. Anyone have any funny road rage stories or advice on how to deal with it(besides therapy).

My broken gc controller was my first one, and I didn't think I threw it hard enough to break either.....but Don't know what to do to stay calm though, things are gonna go wrong - u just have to calmly set the controller down and hit something a little less expensive

Ofcourse I have self control, just not as much as some ppl I guess. Like I said, I've played video games for like 15-20 years and only broke one $20 controller, so I don't think I have a problem.
But, on the other hand, if someone doesn't care enough that when the games messes up - they have the presence of mind to rightfully call it the mother f***** cock s***** sister e****** cun* of a machine that it is; and maybe introduce the controller to wall via a moderate toss........then I would say: not enough heart Wink

Ive explained too many times now how many controllers etc I have broke, I think I am worse than everybody on these boards (except perhaps Sargoth) for game rage, although I have calmed down in the last year (only a few controllers broke Roll Eyes

), there are far more frustrating games than Mario Kart (for me anyway), and its not just computer games, sports like tennis and table tennis can be so fustrating. And I agree with Matt, people who are utterly calm over computer games and moan at people for getting annoyed just drives me nuts Wink

HAHA moderate toss i thought it was a healthy toss? i need to build a controller graveyard for all the controllers ive broken due to upsettiness...i try to think of creative things to do with them after they don't work anymore..one time i went to the gorge thats between the u.s and canada and i brought tons of shit to throw over the side so it smashes into the water and rocks and one item happend to be a broken yellow controller. i swung it around over my head like a lasso and hurled it as far as i could...fortunatly i didnt go to far and ended up smashing on the rocks below...mmmm satisfaction...hopefully i break a cube in the near future and do the same.

Maybe that's what ppl need, is something creative to do with the remains. Although I don't live near any cool gorge, I am on the 7th floor so I could just let gravity do the work for me. Ofcourse that ol' bat Mr. Sexsmith who lives below and likes to sit outside may not appreciate my creativity so much as I do.......maybe next time I'll c if I can land it next to his lawnchair sitting ass (how do u like retirement now bitch) Undecided

Dont hurt mister sexsmith! He sounds like the apartment pimp. Who would protect the women from the thuged out johns. Besides that name rocks! I do have a rage record that extends that off what i already listed but it would take awhile to completely list it. i broke my knuckle on my dresser from punching it from an unrelated game. And its not like i mean to actually break the controlers...it just kinda happens (iv discover GC controllers are one of the most durable, besides maybe xbox). iv bitten my controllers headbutted gameboy screens and cracked them, iv pulled out analogs sticks with my teeth, iv thrown them at the TV(surprisingly no TV damage yet) iv kicked the cube like a soccer ball then theirs the ever so classic rapid off/on powerbutton tap. one time i through the controller that it when the plug whipped (yes whipped) off of the cube it flung and smacked me just below the eye leaving a fatty bruise. damn things learn self-defense now

I agree that xbox controllers are the most durable, and gc controllers aren't too bad (maybe second).....havn't really tested the ps controller.......so ???

Remembered another one too, back a while ago in my smk days I was quite agrevated one day with my lack of progress and popped myself in the head a couple times. Needless to say, it was a painful night after a great shot in the temple :'(

ps2 controllers arent durable. i forgot to mention iv broke a few of those. >< god i keep remembering more and more stuff and im beginning to wonder where all the money to replace these things is coming from ???
