OK this is what I've uncovered in my research. I'm going to list each former site champion along with the date of the update their accomplishment appeared in, as it would be impossible to know the exact dates. I've also disregarded the times the cheaters Guillame Bertrand and Frederic Billaudel were in first place and given champion to the best non-cheater in the rankings at the time.

Michael Jongerius November 17th
Bart Savelkouls November 19th
Michael Jongerius November 22nd
Bart Savelkouls December 13th
Cesar Martin December 31st
Alex Penev February 2nd
Fernando Moritz June 2nd
David Grard July 15th
Fernando Moritz August 8th
David Grard August 21st

I think what's most astounding about all this is the nearly 4 months Penev held on to first place.
