How are you guys so fast?

Im just wondering how people like David Grard and alex penev and fernando mortiz are so good? ??? Undecided

I mean im thinking that they use the mini boosts but im not sure. I've tried the mini boosts but i end up being better off at just power sliding. If Any of you people know how i could improve, what vehicle i should get or even how these guys do it. If you could please let me know.

As Barrel Train said, it's a case of 2 things.

1. Unlock the BT and use it! (apart from DKM where you should use the Toad Kart).
2. Practice, practice and more practice! It's that simple. So long as your times keep coming down you know you're doing something right

The more you play, the better you become 8)

PS. The best tracks to practice your MT/power sliding technique are Peach Beach and Baby Park.

You should also watch some videos to see the best places to use the mushrooms and how/where to do mini turbos.

You don't have to do as many mini turbos as the videos at first but you should learn to do them quickly. Once you can do them quickly, at any time between two turbos that you think you can fit another on, make 3 instead. Keep doing that and in the end you'll be doing 20 turbos per laps on most courses and get fairly close (ie, within 5%) or the WRs.

After that stage, it's all about perfecting the timing if your turbos and sticking close to corners to travel less distance.

Mario Kart Now if you can combine step 3 and 4 by putting the word "to" in the middle of them...then now your prioritizing your life to becoming a better karter
