I use this technique a lot but, I realized how in videos, the kart turns very little. For instance in the Baby park video during the straighaway, the back of the kart rotates very little before it gets the blue flame. This seems to lead to more control of the kart. When I try, I seem to drift a bit more than in the video and I'll tend to zig-zag more. I was wondering if there was a special technique that I don't know about to maintain such control. Also is the both L and R button used (I don't mean similtaneously, I mean swicthing back and forth between the two during straightaway minturbos)?

I remember thinking that when I started playing and then saw some vids of rather good times. Sadly the only technique that really works is practice....but it does work

In Mk64 its much harder...  especially on the long straightaways.

Stephen, please stop posting to every topic especially if all you have to say is "me too" or "hmmm..." or "interesting." For one it just clutters up the board and makes finding relevant information harder for everyone. Secondly, for every post on this board there is some amount of information being stored on our server. The more useless posts there are the less room there is for relevant, insightful posts and the harder it is to backup and maintain the data that's being stored on the server.
