First let me start by saying I don't like this couse very much. Mostly because I usually mess up the third lap, but more than that my lap times are usually a surprise.

Anyway, I've never been able to do 0-1-1 cuz of the tornado. I can't get around it on the first lap so I have to go to the left of the quicksand. So I'm wonderin if anybody does do 0-1-1, and if so how ???

I normally do 0-1-1 for a course cause then it can change to try for a fast lap if i muck up the 1st lap (which happens often enough Roll Eyes

). Thing is on DDD it's not just first tornado it's, it's position on 2nd lap aswell which takes me of line (bout .2sec) but that's cause i'm not fast enough yet.

I'm not sure how much dirt to cut on nearly all corners plus how late do you fire the 1shroom? i think i hit it to early?

That's why I would like to do 0-1-1, so I could atleast try to salvage something if the first lap wasn't to my liking. But find I have the same difficulties with no solutions. Aww well.

I don't know if this has ever been said, but I think that the key to this course is keeping as close to the dark sand (the spin out stuff) as possible when cutting the shortcut. I think the incline is steeper over there, so you get thrown farther into the air and the deep sand doesn't effect you for as long. If you time the shroom right, you fly out of the sand very fast. This is what I focus on when playing this course. I haven't spent much time on it, but the Flap is still my best ranked time on the site.

I'm just curious if people really try to focus on that or not. If not, give it a try.
