Hi,

Sometimes a go ahead a little, sometimes i just try to maintain with the ghost on the first few laps (if the ghost is fast on those), then try to really go for it at the end. Sometimes thats worked..

And then sometimes i try too hard and keep crashing on the same damn pipe or touching some sand when i swear i never touched any sand.

Hi!

I knew the next time would come soon, so ive taped another one. I was stupid enough to push the start button before hitting record, so i couldnt tape the lap splits on the screen... I taped the whole race though, so thats the main thing, and i got the splits written down:

12"45 - 12"14 - 12"14 - 12"16 - 12"18

Time: 1'01"07 (on tape! Getting there.... Grin

And ive beaten it yet again! Grin

These splits were ridiculous, i was all over the place! Reminds me a bit of my time 4 years ago, still not 1'00" today though, but anyhow.. You are gonna love lap 3 in these splits, but lap 4 was disgraceful!! If only it was the same as the other laps!

12"41 - 12"14 - 12"10!! - 12"22 :'( - 12"14

Time: 1'01"01 (On tape!)

So close, next ones gonna be 1'00"xx then i guess.. If i hit 1'00"99 il tape it and i think il stop cos im getting fed up with it.. If i get faster than 1'00"99 then well, its a new PR/Non-NBT WR and il stop there aswell anyway.

This course has been giving me hell the past few days, with countless 1'01"03s and 1'01"01s, crashes, touching sand etc..

But finally i did it! Not a new WR, but like i said, id be happy settling for this, cos this was what i really wanted on tape since 29th August 2000 when i first hit this time. On to tonights result (or this morning rather):

2:25 am, Friday 30th July 2004:

Mario Circuit 1 Non-NBT:

Splits: 12"45 - 12"14 - 12"16 - 12"14 - 12"10!

Time: 1'00"99! Grin

Nice way to finish the race with a 12"10 lap aswell!

Anyway, this time is on tape, il keep it stored safely till early September-ish when i send the tape off. This is just incase i play other courses and tape any PRs or other good times or whatever. Then at least there is more to see.

The video quality of this taping isnt 100% perfect, the screen slightly shakes about in the middle, but it doesnt disturb seeing the time and technique at all. But when it is made into a video file it will be slightly lesser quality, so i am hoping i can send this tape to someone who can make it into a larger filesize. This would mean longer download time, but better to see the technicality of a 1'00"99 on a bigger video file screen on the pc than a smaller one like my old 1'01"25 video file.

Let me know what you think, and if any of you PAL players are able to do this when i send the tape to one of you in September. Cheers.

But i think there is still a bit room for improvements! dunno but is that start-lap of 12,45 good for you? I'm comparing with mine and this one is 12,47 so, you know what i mean.

and the 12,16 lap can be better too, so in my opinion you can do easily a 1,00, 92 or something like that.
