Hi everyone!

Finally picked up the snes controller today and started SMK with some Non-NBT Mario Circuit 1.

Just letting you know on my progress..

First try i touched some sand and hit 1'01"78, second try was 1'01"47! Didn't take long to get into.

I spent a while longer on it and hit a 1'01"27. I decided to tape it even though i already have a 1'01"25 on the video page.

My plan is to tape any time faster than 1'01"27 i hit on the way to 1'00"99. I hope i can reach 1'00"99 again this summer, it depends how motivated i feel.. In any case i know il get real close.

I kept playing after that and messed up many tries which were headed between 1'01"05-1'01"11. Mostly last lap mess ups, some mess ups on like the 3rd lap.

It needs more work but il hopfully get something in 1'01"1x on tape soon. I think im gonna call it a night tonight with my 1'01"27. Not a PR of course, but this is just to add to my tape which i started last year.

Hi,

Had about 40 mins to kart today, had a bit of trouble but started getting some good laps together, some 12"41 first laps on some tries were looking ok, still not as powerful on the course as i used to be, but todays result had a 0'12"12 lap, so im getting there:

Splits: 0'12"47 - 0'12"16 - 0'12"18 - 0'12"12 - 0'12"20

Time: 1'01"13 Grin

Shame about the last lap, nerves again! This ones on the tape now aswell!

The 1'00"73 PAL is faster than my 1'00"83 NTSC.

Hi!

Yes, 12"08s were rare, only ever hit a few of them, 12"10s were quite frequent back in the day, on these sessions ive only made some 12"12s..

My best first lap ever was 0'12"37, hit a lot of them, wondering if i can make 12"35 some day.

So my potential limit is 12"37 + (12"08 x 4) = 1'00"69

Forgot to mention earlier, the 1'01"11 i did is also on tape.

I mean I could imagine how not preparing for the first corner of the next lap could win you 0.02 so you could technically only do a 12"08 as a last lap of a 5 lap. Or am I wrong in assuming that?

Hi,

I dont use any boost on the first corner for my Non-NBT driving, it is only hop jumping all thr way through. I can get a 0'12"06 lap otherwise if i prepare with the next corner, but it is difficult to keep in tight the corner before. Not suitable for 5-lap driving id say.

Hopefully il get to play a little today again..

That's not what I meant.
I mean if you start sliding/hopping or in whatever way preparing to take the first corner of the next lap you might loose 0.02 in the one you were finishing now, but apparently not Undecided
