Good point Moritz, but I am the kind of person that would like to keep sharing my strat and videos, so just because I am a proven player does not necessarily mean that i do no need to make vids any more. Remember vids are not only for providing proof, they are there to help other karters improve there times. That is why I will keep playing 50Hz and share my vid every time I PR.

Fine what evere Moritz, honestly I dont care what you think if you want to think that all the players are just mad insane people that will do anything to PR then think that, all I can say is that I am playing in 50Hz to keep on making vids, if you dont belive me then frankly i dont give 2 shits about what you think. You can't record at 60 hz because your VCR is not compatible? Buy a new VCR.

You don't need to share a LC vid anymore, everybody knows the strat.

Edit: and if every one knows my Lc strat then what is the point in buying a new vcr, you said your self that i dont need to share my Lc strat any more, and my other times are not bloody great so there would be no point in getting a new vcr to show the exact same strat in 60hz

And by the way to make things clear I do agree that 50Hz is easier, the only thing that is pissing me off is that other player ie. your self Moritz do not put your self in other 50hz players or my shoes and realise that yeh may be these people are playing 50hz becasue they want to share their strats and provide proof, not because 50hz is easier(which i think is true 50 hz is easier). Oh and to be really honest I'm carrying on playing in 50Hz 90% to provide proof and share strats but also 10% because its easier.

BHOJ, I said that you don't need to share your LC strat anymore because everybody know the strat since that 1'16" NOBUO vid, and yours is the same too (except the shroom spot), and you already have provide proof on LC and a sub 1'16"5 vid, alright? So I just asked u if you really want to be fully accepted as the best player in LC, play 60 hz and beat your current PR, or at least get a time lower than 1'16"6, the real mkdd LC WR.

Since on LC those 90 % you said you play 50 hz because you want to share your strats doesn't matter anymore, so play 60 hz.

Remeber that someday you could be able to record in 60 hz, even though you would have to borrow a VCR to do it.

Paul got a point there. I bought a new vcr that can record in 60hz and look at the quality of the BC vids i provided Shocked

very crappy. But i wanted to reach BC god in 60hz, so nobody can tell it's due to a slower game.

btw, i used to play both mode quite intensively

60hz november to mid-january
50hz mid-january to april (then i didn't play for 2weeks and came back to 60hz straight)
60hz since may.

and i can tell 50hz is not that "easier". once you're used to a mode it doesn't change anything Roll Eyes

. that's only excuses. cause if you need more reaction time in a run that's because you did something wrong and then you can forgot about a kick-ass lap or whatever you expected.

Does anyone besides me see something wrong with the fact that 50htz players are admitting that the game is easier in 50htz, yet there is no real distinction between their times and 60htz times on the site? I realize your (50htz players') predicament of not being able to provide proof, but I have to agree with Moritz that after you have done so, you should play 60htz to have your times be more widely accepted and respected. I doubt there's really anything that can be done about this 50-60htz thing, but I just think its unfair to us 60htz players.

The two most entertaining arguements on this forum: Moritz & 50hz/60hz

I played 60hz till June then due to changing to my room TV (so i could play more Tongue

) i had to change to 50hz otherwise my TV would go in a huff & shout at me Wink

I think that they are simliar if you play long enough at each. It's just when you change you get a bit of a shock & struggle to pr.

PAUL R: Yeah, it's good taht you decided to play 60 hz again to get the BC God on it, but you can't say that it's the same because you probably could have gotten God early if you had played 50 hz, and you times could be more nearly your potential. That's the point.
Keep playing 60 hz and you're going to be a real respect mkdd gamer.

Steel: Paul R changed your mind really fast, wow, it's true that if you're used to 60 hz you can be good at it, but it takes more time to get used to 60 hz than on 50 hz, and you probably should play more on 60 hz to get a time you'd get on 50 hz, like I told Paul R.
